2018 EurAdopt Conference: mark your calendar

The 2018 EurAdopt Conference will be held in Milan (Italy) on May 24 (PM) and May 25 (all day).

This biennial event has become an important moment for exchanging views and experiences in intercountry adoptions. Over 200 participants attended the last conferences in Stockholm (Sweden) in 2014 and Utrecht (the Netherlands) in 2016. During the conferences talks were given by experts from around the world representing all stakeholders; also, lively discussions took place both during the sessions and informally. The preliminary program and the practical information for the conference in Milan will be provided during the last quarter of this year.

	EurAdopt is an association of adoption organisations in 13 Western European countries. Since the late 1970s a number of European organisations working in the area of intercountry adoptions have met regularly to discuss topics of common concern. In 1991 it was decided to formalize this cooperation, and in 1993 EurAdopt was established. The association presently has member organisations in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and United Kingdom.
